Our love for Mustangs began when our eldest daughter adopted Titus from the BLM & Hutchinson correctional facility. We were unaware of this program and the amazing horses that emerge from it everyday. Titus showed how amazing these animals could really be if given a chance and we were hooked. Since adopting Titus we have adopted several mustangs and 3 wild burros. The mustangs and burros not pictured below have gone on to live their lives with friends of Branded 5! These animals have inspired so many aspects of lives including our name! We are incredibly thankful for the joy that these animals have brought to our lives and are excited to see what the future holds with them!
From time to time, Mike and Stephanie have started mustangs for sale. Please contact to inquire.
We are located 2 hours from the Hutchinson correctional facility, where we adopted all of our mustangs. Our mustangs ranged from having 30-90 days of training when they were adopted. This training is done by the prisoners & they are INCREDIBLY talented! There are 5 correction facilities in the United States that partner with the BLM to educate prisoners on how to care for and train mustangs. These programs are able to help prisoners attain skills that will be used after they are released. It also gives mustangs that may have been unadoptable the opportunity to find a home.
